Shopify is the most widely used e-commerce platform now this time. Other e-commerce sites and Shopfy's main difference are: Shopify is a  hosted platform where other e-commerce site like - Open Cart, Joomla, WordPress are no non-hosted platforms, that means you can download only the theme from here but it requires a host server to be installed and plugged in, which is not required in Shopify Platform.
