Crypto Currency(cryptocurrency today) is a digital currency in which encryption techniques
are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the
transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank. It is a currency
associated with the internet that uses cryptography, the process of converting
legible information into an almost untraceable code, to track purchases and
transfers.
Cryptography was
born out of the need for secure communication in the Second World War. It has
evolved in the digital era with elements of mathematical theory and computer
science to become a way to secure communications, information and money online.
The first crypto currency was bitcoin, which was created in 2009 and is still the best known. There has been a
proliferation of crypto currencies in the past decade. Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum
(ETH), Zcash, Dash, Ripple, Monero, Cardano, Litecoin, NEM, TRON are also varies
types of crypto currency.
It is easy access, quick and easy payments, costs less, private, highly secured, remain anonymous, your details are safe, no charge back, no third party, no boundaries. That is why crypto currency is getting more popularity in day by day. Although having many advantages there are some disadvantages too, to use it. It is difficult to understand, lack of knowledge, not accepted widely, having risk to lose your wallet, no way to reverse the payment, uncertainty etc. cryptocurrency today.
